Royal LePageThe Highway Maintenance Division had worked with Noratek previously on our AMA Road Condition mobile reporting process and we felt they had a good understanding of our unique types of work and how we operate so it made sense to look to Noratek to help us move from paper timesheets to mobile timesheet data collection.
Our Timesheet Application now uses laptop and desktop computers and will incorporate the Blackberry for small crews in the near future. Foremen have an easy-to-use timesheet entry system with access to current employee, job number and equipment data. Previously Foreman had to take their daily timesheets to a fax machine or into the main Calgary office each day, now they complete the timesheets during the day from their mobile sites and sync them easily with the server saving all that driving time. Data entry time has been cut so that our payroll department now has more time to check and process payroll data. Reports using all this collected data are now quickly and easily accessed by all who require the information.
Throughout this project I have dealt with 4 different IT companies and can say with great enthusiasm that Noratek has been by far the most responsive, as well as the most fun to work with of them all!
